About
LG

An architect of international scope — born in the Dominican Republic, trained across Europe, and forged in New York before establishing roots in Toronto.

Lucy G'ala earned her BArch in Architecture & Urban Planning from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, followed by postgraduate studies in Structural Design, Vernacular Architecture, Business Development and Sustainable Architecture.

She apprenticed in studios across the Dominican Republic and Europe — studying the work of Calatrava, Corbusier and Jean Nouvel — before joining Sanba International Inc. in New York as Vice-President of Design & Development, becoming the youngest New York woman developer in 2000.

Her expertise spans architecture, interiors, urban planning, construction, and land development — always guided by a commitment to sustainability and community.
